Task is proud to release his new Mix CD ‘Turn My World Around’ on the 19th November 2010!

Task will be performing the CD live at 1AM and the first one hundred people through the door will receive a free copy of the Mix CD. You will also be able to purchase it at £5. There will also be a few T-Shirt give aways and promo items on the night.

The CD is going down a storm with press and radio coverage already picking up momentum. The CD will also be broadcast on Ninjatune’s solid steel radio in the coming weeks. Please see below for the excellent reviews this CD has received so far.

Another sneaky preview of Task’s new mix cd “Turn my world around” due for release around october/november. The new cd is a collection of moments and experiences over the last X years, this one is from glastonbury 2009 watching the prodigy. This track is a heavily edited mashup (upto 5 layers) of the prodigy warrior dance and skreams burning up. Enjoy

TSK14 – Spankys Theme [Part 2] by Task

Pirates Anthem are proud to release their first mashup in two years.

This is the first of many releases coming up and marks the re-opening of the project. The track is currently downloadable from soundcloud as Pirates Anthem are in the process of building a new website. The track, as always, is free to download as a 320k MP3.

For the sample spotters out there, The sean paul vocal is nicely complimented by ‘James Brown – Funky President’ and the big break comes from schooly d, all mixed up nicely with basslines, synths & embellishments from Bear and production from Task.

Love Tuesdays was Tasks first mix cd for almost 10 years! The CD was released in July 2009 and received rave reviews from the likes of Cheeba, Parker, DJ Food, Mr Been, Ben Parker, More Rockers, Statix and many more respected artists.

Love Tuesdays is available in both physical and digital form and can be found on both Soundcloud and Mixcloud. Love Tuesdays was also featured on Ninjatune’s Solid Steel radio (Nov 2009) and received a massive number of props and downloads. Love Tuesdays took Task four months to produce and when you listen, or look at the track listing you will see why.

Most of the tracks have been manipulated, remixed or rebuilt by Task in subtle ways. For instance. listen closely to the version of Dizzee Rascals ‘Fix up look sharp’ and you will hear that the track was reconstructed using parts of the instrumental and the acapella, giving more control over the mix when adding in the theme track to ‘Little miss sunshine’. Those two pieces of music should never work together, one is hard and aggressive, the other light and delicate, but Task brings them together to create something beautiful.

Task performed the whole CD live at the Love Tuesdays Launch Night, Spill the beans @ The Golden Lion, Bristol on July 3rd 2010, Images from the night can be found below.

Another Well received remix Task did under the alias Kensho. This track has had over 1000 plays on soundcloud and excellent reactions from DJs in 5 continents!
